Banana-Do

In this game, you play as a Banana that tries to survive by fighting with monkeys and gorillas that are trying to eat it. With your trusted katana, your fast shurikens and a collection of power-ups and collectibles at hand, your goal is to survive as long as possible, killing as many foes as you can, to revenge your fellow bananas that were eaten.

Playing Instructions

To play Banana-Do you must first understand it’s controls and mechanics.

Controls:

• Movement: ‘WASD’ or directional arrow Keys
• Attack (Slash or Shoot): ‘K’ Key
• Change Weapon: ‘P’ Key
• Super Attack: ‘O’ Key
• Menu Interactions: Mouse Movement and Left mouse button click

Mechanics:

• Katana has infinite uses;
• Shuriken has limited ammo, with a maximum of 20. If you use them all, you must collect new ones from a box of shurikens present in the world;
• Shuriken can be used to block armed enemies’ attacks, if the timing of shooting is right (i.e. the shuriken tossed by the player should collide with the shuriken tossed by the armed enemy);
• Collect HP to regain health, up to a maximum of 100;
• Collect XP to be able to use the super attack. This attack has various strengths, according to the current XP value at time of activation (25-50, 50-75, 75-100 and 100). The super attack spends all the XP available. The maximum amount of XP is 100;
• Collect the Shield power-up to protect you from all attacks during 8 seconds;
• Collect the Attack Up power-up to increase your attack strength during 15 seconds;
• Collect the Banana Decoy power-up to activate a powerful distraction that keeps your enemies occupied during 10 seconds.
